Matt Toms, CFA | Voya
Matt Toms is the chief investment officer of fixed income at Voya Investment Management, leading a team of more than 200 professionals. As CIO, Matt is chair of the Fixed Income Asset Allocation Committee and a member of the Investment Committee. He has served as head of public fixed income, overseeing teams responsible for investment grade and high yield corporates, mortgage-backed securities, emerging market debt, and money market strategies. Prior to joining Voya, Matt worked at Calamos Investments where he built their fixed income business. He also has prior portfolio management experience at Northern Trust and Lincoln National. Matt earned a BBA from the University of Michigan and is a CFA charterholder.
Ohsung Kwon | Bank of America
Ohsung Kwon is a senior US Equity Strategist at Bank of America. The team is responsible for determining forecasts for the S&P 500 and other major U.S. indices, recommending U.S. sector allocations for equities, and developing and marketing the firm’s quantitative equity strategy to institutional and individual clients. He is in charge of the team’s earnings work and has been quoted in various financial news publications. He has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Purdue University and is a CFA charterholder.
Sophia Kearney-Lederman | FHN Financial
Sophia is the Senior Economist at FHN Financial. She provides regular economic updates and presentations for First Horizon Bank, the parent company of FHN Financial. As Senior Economist, she integrates Chris Low’s macro-economic views and interest rate forecasts with her own economic analysis of regional markets and specific markets.
She served as Senior Business Analyst, Global Commercial Services with American Express from 2017 to 2020. Prior to her tennuare at Amex, Sophia trained as an Economic Analyst with FHN Financial for three years. Sophia graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Epsilon. She resides in New York City.
Don Rissmiller | Strategas
Mr. Rissmiller is a founding Partner of Strategas and has directed the Firm’s macroeconomic research efforts since 2006. He oversees Strategas’ thematic research as well as highfrequency econometric forecasting. Prior to co-founding Strategas in 2006, Mr. Rissmiller was an Economist and Managing Director at International Strategy & Investment (ISI) Group. Before joining ISI, he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, focusing on the analysis of U.S. macroeconomic data and price/wage forecasting models. He is frequently quoted in the financial press. He has been the president of the Forecasters Club of New York, a local group of economists. He serves on the board of the Global Interdependence Center (GIC) based in Philadelphia. Mr. Rissmiller’s research has been recognized by Institutional Investor magazine in their annual survey. Mr. Rissmiller holds an AB magna cum laude in economics from Harvard.
